Landschulheim Grovesmühle

Our team

The team around the students are the people who make up the life, learning and special charm of the Grovesmühle. All employees enrich the everyday school life and boarding school life with their knowledge, skills and abilities. Our educators live on the premises and most of our employees live in the immediate vicinity. They act with a lot of commitment and empathy according to our motto "Education - Life - Perspective". Regular meetings also promote exchange and reflection. In the Landschulheim Grovesmühle children and young people find a second home. Here you can feel at home and live together with different nationalities in a familiar atmosphere.

Our school dog „Pelle“

Since 2011, Katja Must regularly visits our 5th and 6th graders with her Labrador. The dog-supported pedagogy not only provides a better learning atmosphere, but also improves the social behavior of the students and helps to reduce stress. The children's self-confidence is strengthened and they develop a positive attitude towards school. "The dog doesn’t demand. He won't tell any secrets, he doesn't judge. The children can be who they are." The communication of the dog is direct and unambiguous, knows no mockery and no reproaches.
